In the past month, we've hired 2nd Generation Chimneys for multiple jobs. It began with pest removal (a couple of red squirrels that made their way into our fireplace) and chimney inspection and cleaning. We decided to hire them for exterior chimney repairs (involving removal of deteriorating brickwork and rebuilding the chimney, plus a new concrete crown, and more), cleaning of our ducts, and next will be a new insert for one of our fireplaces. 2nd Generation Chimneys technician David was extremely friendly, courteous, willing to explain his procedures, and very knowledgeable. I'll be honest, I have no idea how their pricing runs comparatively (thus why I did not rate the cost, although it seems quite fair to me). I googled them, found lots of great reviews, saw an A+ rating from the BBB, and decided to just call them. David was very careful to make sure he did not create any issues with dust or ash coming into the house, and left our home as clean as it was before he arrived. I will definitely recommend them to my friends!
